The Youth Practitioner's Lunch & Learn: Empowering Our LGBTQ+ Youth

This session’s Lunch & Learn features healthcare advocates, Howard Brown Health, presenting practical ways for youth practitioner's and service providers to empower our youth that identify as lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer/questioning. This session will work to help us understand the importance of gender and sexuality to daily life and identify and practicing affirming behavior.

Howard Brown Health exists to eliminate the disparities in healthcare experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through research, education and the provision of services that promote health and wellness. Howard Brown Health was founded in 1974 and is now one of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) organizations.
